Sodium lactic acid is a chemical with a molecular formula of C3H5O3Na.

Molecular weight 112.06, colorless or almost colorless transparent liquid, can be dissolved with water, ethanol, glycerin. Applied to food preservation, moisturizing, fragrance and pharmaceutical raw materials, can also be used as medicine to relieve diarrhea dehydration, diabetes, nephritis and other diseases of acidosis. Also used as condiments, casein plasticizers, antifreeze, moisturizers, substitutes for glycerin, alcohol antifreeze corrosion inhibitors.

Physical Chemistry

Sodium lactate is a colorless or slightly yellow transparent syrupy liquid, has a strong water absorption capacity. Odorless or slightly special smell, slightly salty and bitter. Dissolved in water, ethanol and glycerin. The general concentration is 60% to 80% (by weight).
